Embraer, a global leader in aerospace innovation, has unveiled a comprehensive array of upgrades across its commercial jet lineup at the renowned Farnborough Air Show. These include the E195-E2, E190-E2, and E175 aircraft models, promising substantial improvements in efficiency, range, and passenger experience. This also gives a net present value of US$ 6 million per aircraft over 15 years in cost reduction and additional revenue.
The E195-E2 and E190-E2 models boast a 2.5% reduction in fuel burn, reaffirming their status as the most fuel-efficient aircraft in their class. The E195-E2’s range has been extended to 3000 nautical miles, facilitated by enhancements in maximum takeoff weight and engine efficiency. In addition to performance enhancements, passenger experience has been enhanced across all models. The E175 now features expanded overhead bins, mood lighting, and premium Recaro seats, enhancing comfort and convenience for travelers. Furthermore, the integration of advanced satellite connectivity options will provide passengers with seamless internet access throughout their journey, catering to the demands of modern air travelers and business professionals.
Technological advancements extend to avionics and operational systems, with upgrades aimed at improving flight management and operational efficiency. These enhancements include an Enhanced Take Off System, designed to optimize performance from challenging airports and maximize payload capabilities.
