Rosoboronexport (part of Rostec State Corporation) will organize Russia’s single exhibit at the 15th edition of the Aero India 2025 International Aerospace Exhibition, which will be held from 10 to 14 February at the Air Force Station in Yelahanka, Bangalore, India.
At the exhibition, more than 10 major Russian defense companies will showcase advanced Russian airplanes, helicopters, engines and air defense systems. In total, 500+ products will be presented to visitors and guests in our country’s exhibit located in Pavilion J.
“India is Russia’s most important strategic partner in the Asia-Pacific region and one of Rosoboronexport’s key partners in the world. Over the last 20 years alone, from 2005 to 2025, Rosoboronexport has signed contract documents with India worth $50 billion, and the total value of Russian military products supplied to that country is about $80 billion,” said Rosoboronexport Director General Alexander Mikheev. “Today, Rosoboronexport and the Indian side are working to expand bilateral technological cooperation within the framework of the Make in India program. We offer our partners large-scale projects to develop and produce military aircraft, helicopters, air defense equipment, armored vehicles and ammunition. We are also ready to discuss the possibility to jointly promote these products in third countries”.
In 2025, the newest Russian Su-57E fifth-generation fighter jet will be presented in India for the first time. Honored test pilot, Hero of the Russian Federation Sergey Bogdan will demonstrate its highest flight performance in the skies above the airfield of Yelahanka Air Force Station.
On February 11 at 15:00, Rosoboronexport together with Rostec’s United Aircraft Corporation will hold the first presentation of the Su-57E advanced multirole fighter in the outdoor display area of the exhibition.
Rosoboronexport will also exhibit advanced guided air-launched missiles designed to be integrated into aircraft armament systems of both Russian- and foreign-made Gen 4++ and 5 fighters.
Among them are missiles that have proved effective under real combat conditions such as the RVV-MD2 and RVV-BD for engaging air targets, Kh-35UE – for destroying warships and transport ships, Kh-38MLE – for precision engagement of ground targets, Kh-58UShKE missile for destroying emitting radars of anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as the Kh-69 new-generation stealthy cruise missile.
In the special aircraft sector, Rosoboronexport will present the IL-78MK-90A refueling aircraft, which can be quickly converted into transport, sanitary, firefighting and medical hospital versions.
New products in the aircraft engine sector are also waiting for guests of the Russian exhibit. For the first time at Aero India, Rostec’s United Engine Corporation will demonstrate Item 177S, a new engine proposed for equipping Gen 4++ and 5 multirole fighters, as well as VK-650V – for light multirole helicopters.
The VK-650V is designed for installation on the Ka-226T helicopter. An Indo-Russian joint venture for its production has been registered in India and is expecting orders from the country’s security, defense and law enforcement agencies.
In the air defense sector, the Almaz-Antey Air and Space Defense Corporation will exhibit long-, medium- and short-range weapons designed to engage targets of various sizes and purposes, from ballistic missiles to small commercial UAVs.
The Pantsir-S1M SPAAGM system from Rostec’s NPO High-Precision Systems will be on display at the Rosoboronexport booth. Pantsir systems have proved effective against UAVs, cruise and ballistic missiles, planes and helicopters under real combat conditions when protecting infrastructure facilities.
On February 12 at 13:00, Rosoboronexport will present a lineup of Pantsir systems being promoted worldwide.
The Lancet-E loitering munition system, which stands out in its market segment due to its extremely successful employment under real-world conditions, will be showcased in India for the first time.
Rosoboronexport is ready to carry out industrial cooperation on all products presented at the exhibition in full compliance with the Make in India and Self-Reliant India programs. Rosoboronexport will discuss the issues of partnership expansion and implementation of new projects with Indian state and private enterprises.
As part of the Aero India 2025 business program, Rosoboronexport is planning to hold substantive meetings and negotiations with representatives of the Ministries of Defense and other law enforcement agencies of India and Asia-Pacific countries.
