LIMA AIRSHOW 2025 : LIMA RUN on 17th November

Global Exhibitions & Conferences Sdn Bhd, which is the Co-Organizer of the LIMA 2025 International Exhibition with the Malaysian Ministry of Defence, announced the inaugural launch of the ‘LIMA Run’ event organized in conjunction to the hosting of the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) 2025 on 20-24 May 2025.

This ‘LIMA Run’ event will be held on 17 November 2024 coincides with Sunday which is the ‘Car Free Morning’ day in the Malaysian Capital of Kuala Lumpur, is a unique initiative to improve a healthy lifestyle in the defense industry of aerospace and maritime community together with the general public. It can also strengthen the relationship between industry players as well as the community, which is indirectly able to provide wider knowledge to the public about the mainstream of the aerospace and maritime industry in this country.

The ‘LIMA Run’ event which is a leisurely running event or ‘Fun Run’, consists of two running categories which are 5 KM and 7 KM, provide opportunities to every individual participated such as from the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) community, foreign embassy representatives, the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (APMM), the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), the Langkawi District and Land Office, together enliven this running event. The run will start and end at the Kuala Lumpur City Hall Square (DBKL), passing by Kuala Lumpur landmarks such as the PETRONAS Twin Towers as well as the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Merdeka Square and the iconic views of the Malaysian capital.

The ‘LIMA Run’ event is not only a ‘Fun Run’, but it is one of the promotional activities of the LIMA 2025 International Exhibition, which will showcase aerospace and maritime technologies covering the defense and commercial sectors, as well as the introduction of new segments which are space segment, aerospace and maritime innovation segment, segment preserving the harmony of aerospace and maritime technology with nature, voyage segment and aerospace and maritime education segment. With the theme “Innovate Today, Thrive Tommorrow”, this event could provide the public the opportunity to be indirectly involved in promoting the LIMA International Exhibition 2025 and as a matter of general knowledge, this

‘LIMA Run’ is the first running event ever held in conjunction with the LIMA International Exhibition since it was organized 34 years ago in December 1991. With sponsorship from several industry players such as Global Turbine Asia Sdn Bhd, Galaxy Aerospace Sdn Bhd and G7 Global Aerospace Sdn Bhd , LIMA Run shows a positive image through the support provided by local exhibitors LIMA 2025.
