IAI Appoints Dror Bar as IAI Vice President and CEO of ELTA

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has named Dror Bar as IAI Vice President and CEO of ELTA, following an extensive search process conforming to government-owned company protocols. The decision, endorsed unanimously by ELTA’s board of directors under IAI’s CEO Boaz Levy and guided by IAI Chairman Amir Peretz, awaits final approval from Israel’s Minister of Defence and the Minister for Regional Cooperation.

Bar, an electrical engineer with a master’s in business management, brings over two decades of experience at IAI, currently overseeing the Air and Missile Defence Systems Division within the Systems Missiles and Space Group. His career highlights include leadership roles in advanced radar system development and operational excellence, bolstered by his military service in the Israel Air Force.

Chairman Amir Peretz expressed confidence in Bar’s ability to steer ELTA amidst Israel’s security challenges, emphasizing the company’s pivotal role in national defence and technological advancements crucial for safeguarding citizens.
