Pushpak Aerospace Division has signed three transfer of technology (ToT) agreements with IN-SPACe for gold plating, silver plating, and black anodizing processes, developed by the Space Applications Centre (ISRO) in Ahmedabad.
“These specialized processes will enhance our capabilities and quality standards, aligning with space requirements to support upcoming nation-building projects,” said Pushpak Prakash, Founder and Managing Director of Pushpak Aerospace Division. Since 1995, the company has successfully executed over 14 special processes for ISRO and other projects, earning numerous qualifications and approvals from customers.
In alignment with the Make in India initiative, Pushpak has been manufacturing indigenous components for ISRO. For instance, the ‘Busbar’, used for satellite batteries, which was previously imported. Today, the company ranks among the top 100 MSMEs in India and has contributed to major projects like GSAT-15, 16, 17, PSLV-C37, the Mars Mission, and Chandrayaan.
“In a rapidly growing aerospace industry, we are focused on enhancing our standards and quality. By leveraging ISRO-developed technology, we aim to provide better services to the aerospace sector,” added Mr. Prakash.
