Phenix Operates Six Global 7500 and Obtained Approval for Flights through Arctic, Antarctic Regions

Phenix Jet Group (Phenix), a subsidiary of Sojitz Corporation, a Japanese trading company, is dedicated to offering elite business aviation services globally, catering to clients who desire exceptional service and dedication. With both US and Cayman Air Operators’ Certificates, and strategic presence in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Guam, Cayman Islands, Phenix offers a comprehensive range of premium business aviation services, including executive charter, aircraft management and aircraft maintenance. As the leading company in Asia for managing Asian-based charter aircraft, it currently manages a total of 19 aircraft, including 6 Bombardier Global 7500, with 2 additions introduced to its portfolio this year recently. Furthermore, two Global 8000 will join the fleet in 2026.

In recent development, Phenix has obtained approval for flights in the Arctic and Antarctic regions. This authorization is particularly significant given the geopolitical challenges and Russian airspace restrictions, enabling the group to operate Asia to Europe direct flights via the Arctic Circle. Compared to the typical route requiring a technical stop, the travel time from Asia to European destinations such as Paris and London can be reduced by 2~3.5 hours. Most of Phenix’s managed aircraft are now capable of operating direct flights from Asia to Europe, greatly enhancing convenience and efficiency.

“With 175 Global 7500 in service around the world, we are always delighted to witness the sustained successes of this peak-performing business jet,” said Emmanuel Bornand, Vice President, International Sales, Bombardier. “For the second time this year, Phenix leveraged the Global 7500 to raise the bar of its offering in terms of speed and range, and we applaud their team’s dedication in delivering an experience that meets the highest standards. At Bombardier, we enable leaders that shape the world, so we are thankful for operators such as Phenix who have an eye-to-eye understanding of excellence and who enjoy as much as us the limitless possibilities of Bombardier jets.”

According to the Flight Data from Phenix, the flight time of a Bombardier Global 7500 is shown below.

Routes requiring technical Stop (1hour for refueling): Tokyo → Astana → Paris / London (ETE: 16h36m / 16h54m)

Direct Flight via polar route: Tokyo → Paris / London (ETE: 14h18m / 13h24m)
